Air Sealing, Comfort & Efficiency
A calibrated fan in the front door pulls the house under pressure so leaks can be measured and found.

You cannot see air leaks, but you can measure them. A blower door is a frame with a fan that fits in an exterior door, lowers the pressure in the house and shows how much air gets in through gaps. With the fan running, leaks can also be found by hand or with smoke.
We use blower door tests on homes across Nashville and Middle Tennessee to set a starting number, to guide air sealing and to confirm the result after the work. New homes are often tested for code, and older homes learn where their biggest leaks are.
