Spray Foam Insulation

Closed-cell spray foam that adds high R-value in a thin layer and resists moisture

Closed-Cell Spray Foam

Closed-cell foam is a firm, dense plastic foam made of tiny sealed cells. It delivers more R-value per inch than any other common insulation, forms an air barrier and stands up to moisture, which makes it a favorite for crawl space walls, rim joists, metal buildings and tight spaces.

We use closed-cell foam in crawl spaces, basements, rim joists, garages, metal buildings and shallow rafters across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We control thickness with depth checks, spray in passes so the foam cures properly and leave a clean, even finish.

FAQ

Common questions about closed-cell spray foam

When is closed-cell the better choice?

Where space is tight, moisture is a concern or you want a vapor barrier, such as crawl space walls, rim joists and metal buildings.

Does it need a thermal barrier?

In many places building code asks for a fire-rated covering over exposed foam in living areas. We explain what your space needs.

Can foam be applied over old insulation?

No. Old insulation is removed first so the foam bonds to the framing and seals properly.
