Blown-In Wall Insulation

Many older Middle Tennessee homes have little or no insulation in the walls. Opening the walls would be a huge job, but dense-pack insulation can be blown in through small holes drilled in the siding or the drywall, filling each stud cavity from top to bottom.

We insulate existing walls with dense-pack cellulose or fiberglass for homes across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We find the cavities, work around blocking and fireblocks, fill to a measured density and patch the access holes so the wall looks like new.

FAQ

Common questions about blown-in wall insulation

How do you know the wall is full?

We use density checks and keep filling until the hose pressure and the weight of the material show the cavity is packed.

Will it make a mess inside?

We protect floors, drill small holes and patch them afterward, so the mess is limited.

Is dense-pack safe with old wiring?

Dense-pack is installed around wiring, and we recommend an electrician check old cloth-covered wire first.
