Sound travels through air gaps and through hollow walls. Fluffy fiberglass helps a little, but dense insulation, sealed outlets, resilient channel and a tight door make a much bigger difference. The goal is to add mass, damp vibration and close the gaps.
We add sound control to walls, floors and ceilings across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We use mineral wool, dense-pack and acoustic foam, seal the small gaps that let sound through and coordinate with drywall crews for added layers where a room needs more.
